:Oakville, ON
:$22 per hour
: 7-month contract position (extendable)
:Afternoons Reporting to the Supervisor of shipping, as a Material Handler (Shipper/Receiver) – Afternoons, responsibilities for Shipping and Receiving duties include crating, packaging, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and data entry into the business system
Primary Responsibilities:

•Compare identifying information of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
•Unpack crates/cartons and receiving of product (entering information into ERP system or other)
•Prepare shipments for delivery, packaging orders to customer specification; prepare all process parts to ship to vendors
•Prepare all necessary customs documentation
•Organize trucks for pick-up and delivery
•Utilize power tools (band saw, etc.)
•Operate lift truck, hand tucks, and overhead crane to move, convey, or hoist shipments
•May be required to handle dangerous goods and materials
•Perform receiving inspection; deliver product throughout the plant
•Become SI&A trained (self-inspection and acceptance) as well as participate in “AOG On-Call” program
•Participate in CI activities
•Attend daily Ace Board/ LDMS and other meetings as required
•Receiving and Shipping of goods from Suppliers and Processors to be updated in sap
•May be asked to complete other tasks in the department based on skills and qualifications
•Material receipt and unpacking of all unique parts
•Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

•High school diploma or educational equivalent
•One to three years shipping receiving experience required and must have forklift truck certification
•Dangerous Goods qualification would be considered an asset
•Demonstrated experience using overhead cranes/slings and a variety of power tools
•Strong communication and organizational skills
•Strong PC skills (ERP systems, MS Office applications)
•Demonstrated strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
•Candidates must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP
•Safety Oriented
