:$28 to $34 per hour (based on experience)
:12-month contract position (extendable)
Job Summary:

In this position you will be reporting to the Supervisor, Quality Control. As the Quality Control Clerk, you will be responsible for scanning and indexing supplier certification/delivery documents, FAI’s and shop floor work orders into the applicable archive software.
Primary Responsibilities:

•Perform periodic hands-on calibration such as hydraulic test stands, pressure gauges, flowmeters, pressure transducers, etc.
•Review new gages and register in GagePack
•Carve gage numbers and issue calibration stickers as required
•Maintain all the related documents including GAGEPACK 11 for calibration.
•Assign verification/calibration frequency for gages/instruments base on the criteria
•Maintain vendor calibration requirements for each gage/instrument family and vendor to follow
•Report gage non-conformances per internal procedure
•Maintain master gages for calibration
•Review suppliers calibration report and gage calibration certificates for acceptance
•Create shopping cart for external calibration or testing services
•Coordinate schedule for outside vendors to perform on-site calibrations
•Repair and/or replace instrument within available capacity
•Review certificate/test report and issue nonconforming report if required
•Able to work under minimum supervision in a team environment is essential.
•Compile and coordinate ITC for visiting personnel
•Prepare standard work instruction with supervisor’s direction
•Control stamp inventory, issue stamps, perform stamp audit
•Admin – personnel certification coordinator with GAGEAPCK 12
•Admin – chemical testing of hydraulic fluids with vendors
•Ensure all job relevant documents are scanned and be kept in database
•Apply 5S workplace organization & follow the companies Lean initiatives
•Keep company EHS rule
•Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

•Experienced in Measurement System Analysis (i.e. gauge R&R)
•Fully competent in the use of tools and gauges for calibration
•Knowledge of calibration ISO 17025, ISO 10012 requirements, and general calibration practices
•Must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and possess good interpersonal skills
•Knowledge of continuous improvement and standard work methodologies are required competencies
•Will be required to work independently and with minimal supervision to complete tasks
•Must possess good organizational and decision-making skills to ensure completion of documentation and computerized tasks
•Preferred 1years experience in a related quality role and/or industrial manufacturing environment, including experience with ISO standards and/or equivalent quality, military, or government standards; Aerospace experience would be considered an asset
•Demonstrated knowledge of technical standards and practices for document management.
•Willingness to work with a team, share expertise, and follow instructions to accomplish established goals
•Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
•Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, excellent analytical thinking, communication and organizational skills
•Familiar with office computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PPT) and SAP, GAGEPACK
•Knowledge of tools such as SAP, Content Server, Fortis, Pilgrim, SmarTeam and Matrix is desirable
•Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational experience
•College diploma in a relevant technical/science discipline; Candidates with a University Degree preferred
•Successful candidates must meet all requirements under ITAR and CGD
